Terms of Service

1. Who we are

A Couple & A Dream is the trade name of Javana Solutions LLC, a Florida limited liability company, at 4746 22nd Ave S, Unit 1, St. Petersburg, FL 33711. In these terms, "the studio", "we" and "us" mean A Couple & A Dream; "you" means the person using this site or buying a service. Questions: hello@acouplenadream.com.

By using this site, booking or buying a service, or calling, texting or emailing the studio, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Using this site

This site describes our work and our services. Prices shown are starting prices for the scope described. Construction ranges are general guidance for homes in our area, not an offer or a quotation; a construction price is given only in writing, after a room has been drawn and specified. Images marked "Design" or "Concept visualization" show work in design or proposed spaces, not finished rooms.

3. The Design Consultation — $350

Rescheduling. You can move your Design Consultation once, at no cost, up to 24 hours before it starts, using the link in your confirmation or by replying to it.

Late changes and missed appointments. If you cancel or move it within 24 hours of the start, or do not attend, the Design Consultation is used. It is not refunded and not credited.

Cancelling. The Design Consultation is not refundable. It can be moved once, as above.

If the studio has to move it, you choose: a new time, or a full refund.

Credit. The full $350 is credited toward Full-Service Interior Design when it is bought within 60 days of buying the Design Consultation. The credit is applied through the payment link we send you. It cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person or property, or applied to anything other than Full-Service Interior Design.

4. Full-Service Interior Design · Measure & Plan

Measure & Plan is the first phase of Full-Service Interior Design: one room in its existing footprint, measured at the house and drawn and specified. It is sold by consultation, after the introductory call, at the fee stated in the scope sent to you by email. You may stop after Measure & Plan and keep the drawings and the finish schedule. If you continue with the rest of that room’s design within 30 days, the full fee paid for Measure & Plan is credited toward it.

Refunds. Measure & Plan is not refundable once it is bought. The studio reserves time in its schedule for your room from the moment you pay.

If the studio cannot deliver. If, after reviewing your intake or visiting the room, the studio concludes it cannot deliver Measure & Plan as described — for example because the room needs structural engineering before anything can be drawn — it tells you in writing and refunds you in full.

Delivery. The delivery date for Measure & Plan is confirmed in writing once the intake and the measurement visit are complete, based on the scope and the studio’s schedule. That date moves only while the studio is waiting on information, photographs, measurements or decisions from you, and the studio tells you in writing when it moves and the new date.

Revisions. One round of revisions is included within 14 days of delivery. Additional rooms or a change of room are scoped and quoted in writing before any work.

Measure & Plan with the Design Consultation credited follows the same rules.

5. For the Design Consultation and Measure & Plan

Refunds go back to the original card within 5–10 business days of approval. The studio does not refund in cash or to a different card.

Payment disputes. Please write to hello@acouplenadream.com before contacting your card issuer; most questions are resolved the same day.

What you receive. The drawings and specification book are delivered to you in PDF. Sealed drawings, structural engineering and permit filings are not part of the Design Consultation or Measure & Plan; where a room needs them, the studio says so in writing and they are quoted separately by a licensed professional.

6. Larger engagements, and your part

The phases of Full-Service Interior Design after Measure & Plan, Whole-Home Design and any other larger design engagement are set out in a written agreement that states the scope, the fee, the schedule and the payment terms. That agreement is signed before any work begins, and where it differs from these terms, the agreement governs.

Your part. Please give us accurate information about the home and the room, and, where we visit, safe and reasonable access to it. The studio may decline or stop a service if the information is materially wrong, if conditions on site are unsafe, or if payment is not made; where it stops a service it has not delivered, it refunds the part not delivered.

7. What design services include, and what they do not

Our services are interior design. They do not include architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical or plumbing engineering, or sealed drawings. Construction is optional and is never part of a design fee. If you decide to build with us, construction is set out in a separate written agreement before any work begins.

8. Use of the drawings

Once a service is paid in full, you may use the drawings and specification book delivered to you to design, price and build the room at the property they were made for, with the studio or with anyone else. The studio keeps the copyright in its drawings and may show the work in its portfolio without your name or address.

9. Payments and taxes

Prices are in US dollars and are paid in full when you buy, by card, through our payment processor. The studio never stores your full card number. Florida sales tax is added only where the law requires it.

10. Text messages, calls and email

Program. A Couple & A Dream Client Messaging Program.

What you receive. If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, the studio and its automated assistant may text you about your inquiry, appointment confirmations and reminders, your project, payments and follow-ups. Promotional messages are sent only if you have agreed to them separately.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your project. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. You can also write to hello@acouplenadream.com. Consent to texts is not a condition of buying anything. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Calls. Calls to the studio may be answered by an automated assistant, and may be recorded and summarized so the studio can follow up.

Email. You can unsubscribe from email with the link in any message.

The program follows the A2P 10DLC requirements of U.S. mobile carriers and The Campaign Registry. How we handle your number is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Limits of responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, the studio is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and its total responsibility for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. The studio is not responsible for the work of builders, suppliers or other professionals it does not employ, or for prices, lead times or availability set by third parties.

12. Florida law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute is resolved in the courts of Pinellas County, Florida. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the new version is posted on this page with its date. Changes apply only to purchases made after the change. The version in force on the day you pay is the one that applies to your purchase.
