Studio sessions · from January 2027

One hour on how to plan a room, from the people who draw them.

Small groups, at the studio, on Saturdays. No presentation about us. You leave knowing what your room needs, in what order to decide it, and what it is likely to cost.

What a session covers

Readiness matters more than finishes.

  1. What the room has to do

How to describe the problem before choosing a single material.

  2. What design costs, and what it saves

Published fees, and the decisions that are cheap on paper and expensive on site.

  3. Material, light and proportion

How a material family is built, and why the order of decisions matters.

  4. What a drawing has to contain

What to expect from any designer, ours or another, before anyone prices the work. Including the rules of this coast.

  5. Your questions

Bring photographs of the room. The second half of the hour is yours.
